The Despicable Life of Paul Ehrlich, Population Bomber and Vile Monster

Daily Wire Says It All

Rarely does the life of someone who was proved wrong in every prediction he ever made get so much positive press, or any press at all except extreme approbation. If ever there was a man who deserved to be publicly shamed, mocked, hounded, and cancelled, it was this guy. The fact that he was not universally condemned is one of history’s great tragedies.
In 1968 Ehlich published a book called The Population Bomb. Every single prediction he made in that book, which was a best seller, turned out to be wrong. Its likely that his table of contents referenced incorrect pages, and his index had non existent sources.
By background, Ehrlich got a PhD in etymology (bee keeping; seriously). Environmental activism enabled him to get a professorship at Stanford, which got him an unearned and unwarranted degree of credibility. His PhD dissertation wasn’t even on bees, but butterflies.
From his safe academic perch on one of the most picturesque locations and temperate climates in the world, Ehrlich took his knowledge of bugs and guaranteed that the world would experience such overwhelming overpopulation that millions would die within 10 years. Of hunger. The provacotive and unprovable headline that made him famous is as follows:
The battle to feed all of humanity is over. In the 1970s hundreds of millions of people will starve to death in spite of any crash programs embarked upon now. At this late date nothing can prevent a substantial increase in the world death rate
People have died of hunger in the years since this fallacious malarky was published. But virtually ALWAYS died of hunger because of wars, in which one side used intentional starvation as a political weapon. I refer scoffers to the following article. Also, get yourself a copy of All The Trouble in the World” by PJ O’Rourke. His chapter on over population is hilarious (he compares Bangaadesh and Fremont CA; same population density you see).

Ehrlich was COMPLETELY wrong about the overpopulation of the world. And 50 years later, the problem with the world is UNDER POPULATION. The birth rate is now below replacement of population in virtually the entire world.
For which Ehrlich and his neurotic and comically inept forecasts of imminent doom can take much blame. It was knuckleheaded doomsayers like him that influenced a cottage industry in advocating abortions, birth control, dispensing condoms, and shaming 3rd world peoples for having sex. Notable among such deluded chimps are ex Prince Harry and his insufferable wife Meghan Markle, who committed to having only 2 children to save the planet. Millions of acolytes of climate hypocrites such as Al Gore decided not to have any children at all, because kids would doom the planet. So Ehrlich, Gore, and their ilk are guilty of actually destroying the planet through population shrinkage, while denying millions of people the joy of having children. And having the sex to produce them!
Worse still than that, population alarmists caused the Chinese to implement the one child policy. Millions were persecuted for having more than one child. Girl babies murdered, or aborted. Women were imprisoned and tortured. The blame for this inhumanity and murder can be placed directly on Ehrlich and his fellow A holes. Now China is experiencing such a dearth in babies that it may cease to exist in 60 years. Way to Go Paul! (He never apologized for his indirect murder of possibly hundreds of millions).
India withheld food and jobs from people who did not get sterilized. Even Stalin never did that. A new threshold of evil was perpetrated in plain sight. And India was congratulated for that!
See how Daily Wire can describe Ehrlich as one of the worlds worst people, ever? He may be responsible for more murders than marxism; (120M) we will never know how many babies were aborted to achieve zero population growth at his urging.
All that overpopulation we never got was supposed to use up all of the natural resources that humanity needed to survive. (Ehrlich advocated against humanity). You know, oil, alumimum, junk food. He was spectacularly wrong about that too. He had to pay off a bet that the prices of 5 commodities would increase, all of which in fact decreased. As a skeptic of Ehrlichs unscientific bollocks predicted.
We extend our sympathies to Ehrlichs family on the death of their patriarch. Maybe personally he was an OK guy; (I am dubious). But we can all take a metaphorical dance on his grave (I assume he was cremated, and his ashed used to grow kale or some such nasty snack). He was wrong about everything. That his brain has turned into fertilizer, like his odious and vile ideas and preachings, it’s the ultimate in ironies. Its just too bad for the world that his death came 58 years too late to save humanity.
BTW as a side note, the New York Times (the paper of Walter Duranty) recorded the death of the evil and calamitous doomsayer by saying his predictions were “Premature”. So any day now, where most of the worlds population more concerned with overeating than starvation, we will have food riots? You read that paper? Why?
