Fashion Trends For Guys Educational Benefit

Women as we know spend a ton of time and money on their wardrobes. Fashion appears to consume about 80% of most women’s cranial capacity at all times during the day. Magazines dedicated to showing, discussing, debating, and parsing the latest trends dominate the supermarket checkout stands. (Sample headline: Kim Kardashian seen wearing pink sneakers yesterday, there is a 3 month waiting list for similar footwear on the web today). All well and good, we men spend 75% of our non sex oriented mental energy on sports and cars.

In any case, there are often women’s fashion trends that puzzle us dudes. Yoga pants on every woman, 24/7. Even the heffalumps. High top converse sneakers. Electric blue hair. Pajamas in public. etc.

Then there are the trends we guys don’t understand, but applaud loudly. The mini skirt, for example. Yay! Severely tight shirts, letting the “girls” out on full display. Yay! And the latest, maybe best, since hot pants and the floss bikini.

I refer of course to the wearing of a bra as a shirt. So essentially underwear as outerwear, or bringing half the bikini to your local starbucks. Yay!

All the typically air headed celebrity broads are putting their cleavages on display behind a visible bra, for the admiration, ogling, and salivating benefit of us guys. Thanks so much ladies. Combine these with short shorts or mini skirts and we may even break out into applause for you.

In tandem (ha!) with this titillating (har har!) trend, we have womyn now going braless. Even better! You go ladies! Let the breasts hang free from constraint! We males completely support this lack of support (ha ha!).

Puzzling to me however, is how showing so much skin or nipples, supports the womyn’s movement. If womyn don’t want to be seen as sex objects, what’s with the public cleavage or bouncing boob display? I scratch my head, then realize this is not something I would worry about for half second.

However, if gals are now into showing off the girls, we clearly need a new accepted male behavioral policy. If women are going to show off their boobs, we can leer and stare all we want without approbation. Wives and girlfriends need to adopt this convention. We can’t help ourselves, and are not the key driving factor fueling this fashion. So we must get a pass on ogling the eye candy on display.

So yay to the new fashions we guys love. I do suggest all guys immediately get mirrored sunglasses, lest our lovely wives are not in sympatico with the new ogling convention.
